It's a Great Night Out

After weeks and weeks of assignments which cracks my brain to the max, at last last night i spent some good time out to watch a good awesome game. It's a Australian Rugby League (ARL) Test Match between Aussie and Kiwis... cool... tight rival between these 2 countries. The last match i remembered, Kiwis've beaten Aussie Kangaroos 24-0, which is like really surprising and memalukan, coz i heard that Kangaroos in many games won over Kiwis. So, here comes the chance for me to go and watch live match!

Well, I actually bought my ticket on Wednesday which is like kinda late to buy a good-seat ticket. Initially, i wanted to get a seat in the middle of the field-length area. But, it seemed to me like this $54-seats are all sold when i requested for 4. Aargh, i thought i wouldn't get any seat for this match. And, many of the other seats are fully sold, made me felt even more nervous (a big match huh?!?!) . But Thank God, i managed to find 4 seats, summore on the north-east side of the stadium; and i requested my seats to be on high, so that i could see to the further side of the field. And yap! i got what i wanted. Oh ya, my ticket just cost me cheap $17.05 with consession price. Woohoooo~~~ so nice to be a student in Brisbane...

Come to think of this match, another reason why i so wanted to go and watch was because yesterday, Friday i had just submitted a big major assignment which 'killed' me for few days with sleepless night and also assignment-themed dreams. Gosh, i hoped a game like this would release much of my tension. And yes, it did! Here it goes...

Well, this is my entrance ticket for this match. Australia vs New Zealand. yay!

We took a train to Milton which did not even cost us a pence, coz the ticket was inclusive of transportation fee. Next time should go more often!!

The picture was taken when we had just arrived in front of our stadium, Suncorp Stadium. Awesome gorgeous stadium. And trust me, there were plenty lots of people outside the stadium cheering and sorak-ing for aussie as well as kiwi teams~~ And just as Kangaroos' jersey color is green, i guess my shirt would represent very well my patriotism!! haha.. Anas's yellow color was right on the wrong occasion; obviously, the yellow shirt is the Wallabies jersey color... Ili (the cute little girl there) wore wrong color shirt (black represents all-blacks or kiwi mah), but in the end, she ended up supporting kiwis instead of aussies... Din (blue shirt), no idea what his color represents.

Gosh, this is the 2nd time i came to this stadium; First time was the match between Queensland Roar and Sydney FC. But this time looked much more grand and fanatic!

The picture below was taken from the front entrance. Look big huh? and beautiful too!

That's me (obviously) and the scene 30 minutes before the match began. That's aussie artist Shannon Noll singing behind there (look at the big screen).

Guys, if you are the kiwi fan, then here your team. Apparently, they are doing some kind of warming up before getting psychological tensed playing later! =P (*check out the kiwi paint on the field). Nice one!

Here's comes the Kiwi first team players. I think the substitutes were in too. The Haka they did was fantastic, but could hardly hear it. Next time should get a mic in front of them!

Below's the aussie team! i just know some of them... those good ones...

Awesome crowds that night: 44191 people! Let's do it again. (Have i told you guys that me n me friends were sitting at the Kiwi's fans seats? Ohh.. It's such a great experience sitting with them.

Here's the full-time score after the match. Admittedly, this wasn't the best match we would want to expect from kiwis. Another time then~ =)

Well, here goes all the photos and great experience i had in Suncorp Stadium yesterday. The next must-watch match for me is the Rugby Union match. This time, it's gotta be great, coz it's between Aussie Wallabies and the legendary Kiwi All Black~~ It's on July, i am in time to be back for that match. Yay~
