I'M LOST!

Today, I had a talk with my good friend. As we talked, we slowly moved into the relationship topic. We started questioning why bad relationships happened and started questioning GOD. Hate this!

~~confusion, doubts and bitter~~

1. If you knows what's best for me, why would you put me in a few relationships that didn't turn out well?

2. Why would you take away people who have loved me so much (unconditionally) just because of some cultural and spiritual reasons?

3. Will I ever be back in the game?

4. Why can't you just give me the person i want to love and be loved for my entire life?

5. For months and years, i have been waiting for your answers, but where are you with your answers?

6. Where are you when we are deeply hurt? Were you there to heal us?

7. Why do my past experience kept haunting me when thinking of initiating a new relationship?

8. How long should i wait for you and your answer?

9. When are you coming exactly?

10. Why can't i see things the way you want me to see? Where are your signs and who are your messengers?

I'M LOST!
WHERE THOU ART????

it's okay to rant ;) i asked some of those questions too. here are the answers that i've got from my personal experience with our loving Father :) hope some of it helps you a bit :)

1. so that you would know what's the best for you.

2. so that you can learn to put Me first in your life.

3. refer q1.

4. how then can i teach you patience, my dear child?

5. i always answer your prayers - refer to your post on 'God always answers prayers'.

6. yes, i was, i am, and i will - always be there. sometimes trust wholly might hurt, BUT I am faithful, and i honour the faithful.
Deuteronomy 7:9:
Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands.

7. have you asked Me to help you with the letting go? :)
Isaiah 43:18, 19
Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.

8. Once again, how else can I teach you patience and trust?
Jeremiah 29:12
Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

James 1:5
If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.

9. how about focusing on walking with Me and living life to the fullest in My purpose for you?

10. when you take your eyes off yourself, and focus on Me.

:) you are not alone.

It's normal to feel the way you do & it's good to let out your thoughts and doubts.Let's see if my answers(not in any order) can clear a bit of the cloudy air around you:
1. God allows different people to cross your path so that you may learn something from the relationship.Good or bad, sweet or bitter, depends on how you perceive the whole thing.
2. Don't worry. There will be many more games to come. You are not alone. You are just a new comer to the game. You will get used to it.
3. God wants you to taste the bitter fruit so that you will appreciate more the sweeter things in life.
4. God says; just as the heavens are higher than the skies, my ways are higher than yours. When God closes one door, he opens up another door-if only you allow yourself to see it.
5. We cannot do it on our own strength. But surrender it to God and ask HIM to help us to let go of whatever is troubling you.Put your troubles at the foot of the cross, let the SPIRIT burn it and let the blood of our LORD JESUS that HE shed wash it all away.
6. This is what is life all about: it has its sweet moments, bitter memories, its hardship, its calm.
The road to success is not straight...
There is a curve called failure..;a loop called confusion..;speed bumps called bad friends..; red lights called enemies...;caution lights called family...; flat tyre called jobs...;
but,
if you have a spare wheel called determination...; an engine called perseverance...; an insurance called faith..; a driver called GOD...; You will make it to a place called SUCCESS.
GOD BLESS.

Let me summarise the whole grandmother-grandfather-story of your situation:

1.Aiya, chill lah dude. U're not lost, that's just a hint of kamcheong-ness or perhaps even a bit of desperation. Loneliness does hit everyone at certain times.

2.Despite the fact i'm not exactly the most religious person u probably have ever met, i still believe that God works in His own mysterious way and in life, things always happen for a reason.

3. Sing along now everyone... Que sera, sera. Whatever will be will be. The future is hard to see.

To Jarod: I've read it already. It's a good reading. And I guess it would be a good article for those women out there who are single. Though i am not a woman, i still find it very interesting to learn something from it. :) Thanks
